Wreck Diver – Explore the hidden world of shipwrecks
Have you caught the diving bug after completing your Advanced Open Water?
Then it’s time for the next step: the Wreck Diver Specialty.
During this course, you will make two dives with me on one of the beautiful wrecks around Bonaire.
You’ll learn everything about the risks and considerations of wreck diving, how to tie essential knots, and how to safely navigate in and around a wreck.
We finish the specialty with an actual penetration dive, where you apply your new skills and explore the wreck from the inside.
DPV Diver – Discover the power of an underwater scooter
Do you sometimes struggle with strong currents on Bonaire?
Or get frustrated when the wind is too strong to dive on the East Coast?
With a DPV (underwater scooter), you can easily cover long distances and even reduce your air consumption.
Consider joining our DPV Specialty!
During this course, you will make two dives with me on our beautiful reefs. We start at an easy dive site to get full control of the DPV.
Once you're comfortable, we’ll choose a more challenging location for the second dive, this will be discussed together during the training.
Sidemount Diver – Dive with ultimate freedom
Ready for a new challenge in your diving journey? Join our sidemount training at FPA Sports Bonaire.
With your tanks mounted at your sides, you’ll enjoy exceptional freedom of movement and perfect trim underwater.
You can also easily carry two tanks, ideal for wreck dives, cavern dives, or getting close to that lionfish that always seems just out of reach.
You can begin after completing your eLearning, or choose traditional classroom lessons, both options are available.
The course includes two dives and can be completed in just one day.
Solo Diver – Dive fully independent
Are you often dependent on dive buddies who are too busy?
Do people have to wait for you while you take photos?
Would you like to increase your personal dive safety?
To join the Solo Diver Specialty, you need a minimum of 100 logged dives.
During this course, we teach you everything you need to dive safely on your own.
This includes the use of a second dive computer, a backup mask with anti-fog, calculating your SAC rate, and what to do if your BCD stops working.
After completing your eLearning, we’ll head out for two beautiful dives on our house reef, where you will practice and master all required skills for your solo diving adventures.
